Our company was founded in 2003 with humble beginnings. Owner Dean Johnson is a native of Corpus Christi. He graduated from Mary Carroll High School and has been in the construction business since 1976.
After a tour in the military, Johnson began working in the plumbing industry, where he first learned about issues with Corpus Christi foundations and how to deal with the sand and hydrophilic clay-based soil mix. This knowledge led to a job with a foundation company and, eventually, to opening his own business, Eagle Foundation Repair.
Dean is passionate about serving customers well.
Community Support
Eagle Foundation Repair is a strong community member that strives to make an impact with local residents. It is an annual contributor to Toys for Tots and supports various local CCISD student sponsorships. Dean serves as a deacon at his church.
The Work We Do
Eagle Foundation provides foundation inspections and repairs for both types of foundations: pier and beam and concrete slab.
Pier and beam foundations were primarily used to build homes in the Corpus Christi area and across the country until the 1960s. This type of foundation has a perimeter beam and short piers inside that support the wood sills and joists on which the house sits.
To repair a pier and beam foundation, Eagle Foundation has years of experience to take one of several steps to level a home that has shifted.
A concrete slab foundation may also have several methods to repair it, and we use sturdy concrete pilings to create a long-lasting repair. We do our best to stabilize the home without lifting it to avoid the energy transfer to another part in the structure that a lift may impose.
